WWI: A Reason To Fight?
This would be perfect to do before getting into the "Seeds of Conflict: Causes of WWI" lesson. Four scenarios are given to the students where they have to respond with what they must do in each situation. The scenarios take place in a neighborhood setting. The situations mirror the situations in 1914 Europe before World War I began. This activity is all about making militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism relevant to the students.
